Technology giant Microsoft has announced that it will release two major updates for Windows 10 in the following year after the release of the third and final update for 2016.
“Windows 10 version 1607 is our third running Windows 10 update feature released. On the basis of feedback from the organizations that work with Windows 10, it will be our last update feature for 2016, with two additional updates expected in 2017,” company wrote in a blog post on Saturday.
In accordance with Windows Central, the first major upgrade for the 2017 – codenamed Redstone 2 – release in early 2017, the second – codenamed Redstone 3 – it can be released in the summer of 2017.
Microsoft is currently in the middle of Redstone 2 of the latest internal builds now being compiled about the 14900 range, according to the report.
