Chrome App Improved its Video Load Lag Performance in Chrome 52 Version

Are still finding yourself frustrated with Chrome on performance and power with Android? Well, version of Chrome 52 promising improvement on both fronts, and the update of the popular mobile web browser is now available.

Most importantly, Google has diminished the Chrome video load lag so your video will start to play up to 5x faster than before. In addition, you can see less than the corresponding hardware gaps and pauses during playback.

You’ll probably have an easier time recognizing improvements when playing back short video in Chrome 52, as short videos need less memory and processing power of your device.

Chrome update also adds support for Data Saver mode, the function introduced last fall to save power and data by serving lightweight version of the video. You can save up to 50 percent on data if you switch to the the data saver mode.
